SSDN becomes Glow

After a lot of preparatory work by a great team of people in LT Scotland and RM, the new name for SSDN went live yesterday - Glow. Gloria - aka Lorraine McGowan, actress and primary teacher - and 'Glowguy' - aka Duncan Duff - you might remember him from such productions as Hamish McBeth, Between the Lines, River City, Dr Who, and others - star in Glow:the movie.

This initial set of video assets is aimed squarely at teachers - further work on videos and other materials to introduce learners, parents and others to the world of Glow will follow at appropriate moments over the next year or so.

We always intended to move away from the bald abbreviation SSDN, although these four letters that have done such sterling work for us over the past few years will not, I suspect, disappear immediately.
