The original Garageband...

I discovered Garageband (the music sharing site, not Apple's great iLife component) many moons ago and have even uploaded a few bits and pieces to be torn apart by the wolves on occasion (actually, they were gentle with me for the most part). No point seeking out my musical attempts there, for the moment at least - I took them down once the initial round of reviewing was completed. You never know in the future though.... You'll have to excuse the pretentious pic - almost de rigeur on the site.

For anyone who hasn't yet tried out Garageband, whether as a music maker or as a listener, I'd recommend it. Of course, there is some real cr*p there, as you would expect, but there are also some gems. I've put a link at the foot of the left sidebar to an example of what I think is the high quality you can find on the site if you look for it - Christa Couture and a song with the odd title of Day 4 (since released on an album by Christa - Fell out of Oz).

Give it a listen, and then go take a look at Garageband if you haven't done so before.

Noticed the reference to Garage band so went to have have a listed. Unfortunately could not sample the delights as the songs have been removed "at the artists own request" PItty was looking forward to listening to some original material ;-)

When I'm daft enough to put anything else up, Jim, I'll be sure to let you know!!

I put 2 or 3 pieces up over a 4-6 week period back in the Spring - took my punishment from the reviewers and then took them back down again :-) I'm a coward, I know...!!
