John Connell: The Blog

The point is not to interpret the world but to change it.

A pleasant and varied week…

The week or so since I last blogged has been enjoyable, with a trip to London for the varied delights of the Royal Albert Hall and the Comedy Store, and then a short trip to the north once again, with two or three days spent in Grantown on Spey. From 18th Century classical music delivered superbly by the London Mozart Players, in full 18th Century garb, to the brilliant improvisation by the Comedy Store Players, including Paul Merton, Neil Mullarkey, Richard Vranch, Lee Simpson and Andy Smart. Andy MC’d the evening and spent most of the night doubled up in laughter along with the audience. Oh, I’ve missed one of the players – can someone remind me of his name?

Finally, a few pleasant days in the Highlands, and the special delight of seeing a couple of red squirrels, one of whom was kind enough to pose for me!
