The Future of Education: visionaries required!
Posted on | March 19, 2010 | 1 Comment
It’s impossible to see the future of education from a single perspective. Many voices, many ideas, and many perspectives are required. While the future can’t be predicted, it can be somewhat anticipated by extrapolating current trends and innovations.
George Siemens and Dave Cormier will be running an open course on the Future(s) of Education, starting in April. In the interests of gathering the ‘many voices, many ideas and many perspectives’, they are seeking a multiplicity of contributions in a variety of formats:
Could you post a video/drawing/audio recording/dance routine/cave drawing/clay pot that represents your vision of the future of education?
Martin Weller has already produced his: a musical slideshare. So, come on all you edu-futurologists out there – get creative and shower George and Dave with your visionary bounty!
Tag your contributions with #edfuture and let George and Dave know via Twitter (George=@gsiemens; Dave=@cormier) or drop a link in the comments on George’s blog post.
