The point is not to interpret the world but to change it.

2007 beckons

As Scotland battens down the hatches for a wild Hogmanay, both meteorological and hedonistic, I for one am looking forward to 2007 with optimism. My own new year’s resolution (and maybe a general one for education) might be to try even harder to change minds and attitudes about the future of education beyond the echoing walls of the tiny chamber we still, if we are honest, find ourselves in!

A Happy Hogmanay and a Great New Year to all who have made the past year such a capricious and stimulating one, and who, I have no doubt, will continue to inspire me in the roller-coaster of the year ahead!
