In the context of the US tide against the use of social networking sites in schools, an interesting suggestion from Miguel Guhlin on the Tech Learning site (and picked up by Anne Davis as an idea that she has been thinking about too).
Is it a good idea because it might be a way to get around the banning of social networking sites in US schools, or is it a bad idea because, in a sense, it condones such bans?
